Butter Dishes	A specialized dish in which butter is served. It would normally have a base with a separate fitting lid with its own handle. A typical measurement is 8 inches by 5 inches. Butter dishes are commonly made of stainless steel, silver or porcelain. The metal examples tend to have within them a glass base to protect the metal from the corrosive effects of salt within the butter. An alternative to a standard butter dish is a French butter dish, also known as a butter crock.
Gravy Boats	A boat-shaped pitcher in which sauce or gravy is served. It often sits on a matching plate, sometimes attached to the pitcher, to catch dripping sauce. Some gravy boats also function as gravy separators, with a spout that pours from the bottom of the container, thus leaving any surface-floating fat behind.
Sugar Bowls	A sugar bowl is a small bowl designed for holding sugar or sugar cubes, to be served with tea or coffee

Egg Cups	Is a container used for serving boiled eggs within their shell. Egg cups have an upwardly concave portion to hold the egg and often include a base to raise the egg retaining portion and give stability, informally known as footie. Egg cups can be made of Porcelain, pottery, wood, plastic, glass and various metals or Bakelite. Some are made of two materials (wood and ceramic)
